Uyo—FORMER President Olusegun Obasanjo has called on the people of Akwa Ibom State to support the second term ambition of Governor Udom Emmanuel, describing him as a good product.

Obasanjo, who made the call yesterday when he worshipped with the governor at Qua Iboe Church in Uyo, expressed satisfaction with the performance of the governor.

His words: “You know I always cherish the attributes of God. The wonderful God that we worship has kept some attributes to himself, which he doesn’t share with anybody- Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscience.

“But as a wonderful God, he has other attributes that he shares with us such as kindness, generosity, compassion. I just want us to take four of those attributes that God shares with us. One is the truth. You and I can share saying the truth with God and if you do not, you have yourself to blame. God has not created you to be a liar. God has not created you not to tell the truth.

“If you are truly a believer you will be a forgiving believer. And if you cannot forgive how do you expect God to forgive you? The third is love. God is love.

“If I have a good product in my hand I will not change it. Your Governor is a good product.

“Children of God, I can assure you this governor has no fear. He will stand still. Please stand with him. And he will take us to the promised land”
