
The Public Relations Officer of the Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba, has debunked rumours flying around that the students of the school were involved in the recent cult clash that led to the demise of A 23yr-old Felix Olowokeere
The PRO, Mr. Sola Imoru in a statement made available to Tribune Campus Beat correspondent stated that students of the university were not involved in the clash.
According to him, both the deceased and the suspected cultist are non-student of the institution.
“The attention of the management has been drawn to the mischievous attempt by a cross section of the media linking the killing of one Felix Olowookere by suspected cultists last weekend to the students of the University.
“The management would, however, like to inform the general public that the story is fallacious and misleading as neither the deceased nor his alleged
killers are students of the University,” He said
He further stated that the that the students of the university are currently on a break following the conclusion of their First Semester examinations.
