Adeleke: Saraki, senators in black, white for valedictory session

Leke Baiyewu, Abuja

President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, is dressed in a full black attire today as the upper chamber of the National Assembly holds a valedictory session for the lawmaker representing Osun West Senatorial District, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, who died on Sunday.

While some lawmakers also came in their black attires, others came in white. One of the who came in a white attire is Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.

After Saraki said the opening prayer at 10:39am, the session entered closed doors at 10:41am.

As part of the National Assembly traditions, the Senate and the House of Representatives had adjourned plenary on Tuesday in honour of Adeleke.
