Adjogbe tasks politicians on selflessness, discipline

Executive Director, Projects, EDP, of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Engr Samuel Adjogbe, has charged Nigerian politicians to be selfless and disciplined in the pursuit of nation building.

Speaking at his Evwreni, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State country home when APC Chieftain, Chief Oghene-Aga Orugbo paid him a consultation visit on his ambition for the Federal House of Representatives, Adjogbe who is a Patron of the Buhari Support Group Centre, South South Zone, said it was incumbent for one to be selfless while representing his people.

He prayed for purposeful representation of the people, saying that “the mainstay of any true representation is selflessness, patience and bravery in the face of resistance”.

Earlier his remarks, Chief Oghene-Aga Orugbo, emphasized on his vision for sound advocacy and representation of the Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.

Orugbo who was Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in the State, said: “I will bring sound, effective and purposeful representation to the good people of Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency without betraying their mandate.”

In the entourage of Chief Orugbo were: Sir Godwin Ohwoevwo, Chief Christopher Owhogbona, Mrs Agnes Egbi, Mr. Ambrose Evughaye, Mr Gideon Orugbo, Mr James Ovedje, Prince G Isire, Mr. Odinisu Austin, Mr Jude Edem, Mr Better Laya and others and a host of others.

With the EDP to receive them were: Mr Monday Oyeghe, Chief Ochuko Kumane, Prince Edewor Akpedafe, Mr. Jerry Uloho, Mrs Florence Ayomanor, Mr. Moses Ebrunu, Mr Ogba Emehwekre amongst others.
