For a second time in a row, Service Chiefs and other heads of security agencies have had a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, but have failed to brief on the outcome.
Although the agenda of the meeting was not known at press time, speculations point towards the security situation in the country given that security heads are expected to present regular briefing to the President being the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigeria Armed Forces.
Those in attendance are the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Abubakar Sadique.
Others are, acting IGP, the National Security Adviser, Major Gen. Babagana Monguno; Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan- Ali, Minister of Interior, General Abdulrahaman Dambazau ,Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Abubakar, acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and the Director General of Department for State Service (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi.
