AIESEC Alumni Africa and Middle East is set to hold its first joint regional congress in Lagos from March 15 to 18.
Themed, ‘’Positioning for global impact- Leadership and economic synergy in a transforming world’’, a statement by the body described the congress as an annual event designed to set the necessary framework and action plans to guide its programmes and activities for the year.
Over 200 delegates from across the world are expected to attend the event.
Confirmed speakers for the event include the Chief Executive Officer of Just Food Limited, Mr. Tunde Ogunrinde; Founder, Keexs, Jide Ipaye; and the Group Executive Director, FilmOne, Moses Babatope.
According to the statement, sponsors of the event include Digitalreality, Just Foods and Afex Commodities Exchange Limited
The statement further read, “The theme was borne out of a need to look outwards and become significantly involved in global citizenship and leadership, creating transformation within our different localities as well as globally.
“From leaders of large industries and organisations to entrepreneurs, we are seeking ways to synergise our various strengths, spur innovation and create positive global impact in leadership, business synergy across regions and service to humanity.”
