Anioma youths pass confidence vote on Okowa, Nwaboshi

nioma Youth Council Worldwide, AYCW, the foremost Anioma youth body in Anioma and a member of Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Council, has passed a vote of confidence in Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and Senator Peter Nwaboshi, the Senator representing Delta North (Anioma) in the Senate.

Moving the motion at the office of Delta State Community Youth Leaders Association, where the group held her meeting, Mr Enudi Marcus, President-General of Anioma Youth Council Workdwide described Okowa as “An astute politician, who rose from the ranks and files of political offices to get to the governorship position and who is delivering the dividends of democracy to all parts of Delta State.”

Marcus commended the governor  for “engaging the youths of the state with trusted skill acquisition training programmes, such as YAGEP and STEP and giving them envious starter packs to be their own bosses.”

He said “Removing the youths off the streets with these programmes has reduced crime and agitation rate in Delta state,”   as he called on the people of the state to support and vote Okowa for a second tenure to consolidate on the gains of democracy.
