The All Progressives Congress in Bauchi State has alleged that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, is an ingrate who used the party as a ladder to achieve greatness and dumped it.

The Legal Adviser of the party, Rabiu Abubakar, made the allegation on behalf of the party while addressing newsmen in Bauchi.

He said, “On Thursday 20th September 2018, we witnessed the formal defection of Rt Hon. Yakubu Dogara from the All Progressives Congress to Peoples Democratic Party on the pretext that the former had failed to fulfill a single promise it made to the people of Bauchi State and Nigerians.

“Who in fact is the failure: The All Progressives Congress or The Rt Hon. Yakubu Dogara, who was sponsored and comforted by the party to achieve his present status as the number four citizen of Nigeria, but turned around to neglect the party?”

The legal adviser said that contrary to Dogara’s claims, the APC-led administration in the country had done well in areas of security, agriculture, economy, eradication of corruption, entrepreneurship development and infrastructure in the last four years.
