Ismail’s mother went on suckling Ismail and drinking from the water she had in her skin bag left by her husband, Prophet Ibrahim. When the water in the water-skin had been exhausted, Mother and child became thirsty. Hajar, confused tossing in agony; left her baby in search of water.  She walked to the mountain of As-Safâ nearest to her on that land.

Airlifts of pilgrims on course — NAHCON

No fewer than 3,029 pilgrims who performed the just concluded hajj exercise have returned to the country.  The  pilgrims were airlifted in a total of 11 flights carried out by the three contracted airlines – Flynas, (a Saudi based air-carrier), Max Air and Med-view airline.

NAHCON : Lots of efforts to remain in form

Ever since the Hajj season began its descent, activities at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria headquarters (NAHCON) in Ummul  Jood, Makkah, reached a crescendo. Visitors to the office tripled as did its schedule. A line-up of marathon meetings and debriefings laid in waiting for staff after grueling Muna tasks. Fortunately, executives and staff of the Commission are witnessing the first great success that sprang from these engagements. It is the timely airlift of pilgrims back to base. In fact, some pilgrims were taken unawares at the prospects of leaving Makkah early.
