GACA opens application for hajj airlift slots

The General Authority of Civil Aviation, Saudi Arabia, has set 3rd of March 2019 as deadline for airliners to submit request for slots allocation for 2019 Hajj operations. This was disclosed at the recently concluded 2019 Hajj preparations meeting between the Authority and NAHCON representatives in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Nigeria’s Minister of state, Foreign Affairs, Hon. Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim, recently signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 2019 Hajj on behalf of the country. The agreement signing ceremony was conducted at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Makkah Saudi Arabia led by Dr. Muhammad Saleh bin Taher Benten, the Saudi Arabian Minister of Hajj and Umrah.

The Lagos State pilgrims in the last hajj exercise have bagged the Most Disciplined Award just as the State Muslim Pilgrims board took the 2nd best Award in Hajj managment.  The awards were announced by National Hajj Commission, NAHCON during a post Arafat Stakeholders meeting held in Makkah, Saudi Arabia recently.
