As more reaction continue to trail the deployment of Maj Gen Anthony Atolagbe the former commander of operation safe Haven, a coalition of civil society groups, Network of Civil Society Organizations for peace and Development, Plateau State chapter, has said even as it welcome the appointment and redeployment of Major General Chris Chukwudi Agundu as the new Commander of Operation Safe Haven, the timing of redeployment of Major General Anthony Atolagbe out of Plateau State by the Defence Headquarters, was not the best decision at this time.

As reactions continue to trail the recent attacks on some villages in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State where scores of people were killed and several property razed down by the attackers, a coalition of Christian and Muslim groups in the country has commended the internal military task force, Operation Safe Haven, OPSH, for prompt restoration of peace in the state.
