Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Ibadan, Most Reverend Gabriel Abegunrin, has called on the Catholic faithful, and Christians in general, to embrace unity.
He stated this at the cathedraticum mass of the North deanery of the diocese, held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ilupeju, Ibadan.
He said: “We have a project and that is targeted towards making the archdiocese one family. Once you belong to Christ, let us always come together. We have all been created in the image of Christ.”
Also speaking at the mass, which held on March 7, 2018, Episcopal Vicar and Dean, Very Reverend Father Felix Ethapemi, appreciated the host parish and the priest of the parish, Reverend Father Benedict Ugwoegbu, as well as members of the archdiocese for their cooperation and support and called for prayers for the clergy of the archdiocese.
