CWAY Nigeria Drinking Water Science and Technology Company Limited has urged water distributors to constantly embrace proper hygiene within their premises.

The company stressed that even though government had set hygiene standards, operators of water depots must maintain a sanitation standard higher than the height set by relevant agencies.

The sales Director, CWAY, Mr. Femi Quadri, who made the appeal during the company’s annual award night for water dealers and marketers held in Lagos, assured the distributors that the company would assist them to improve on their standard.

He said, “We need to ensure that our depots adhere to hygiene standards set by the state government. If we are able to do this, we will not be found wanting by government officials whenever they visit our depots.

“On our part in 2017, we ensured that our depots meet the required hygiene standard set by the state government and we want that to continue.”

Quadri noted that if they complied, the depots operators would experience huge growth in sales.

He said that the company would be embarking on branding of buses, sponsorship and improved Corporate Social Responsibility in the country.

“Also, we will ensure that we boost regular supply to depots and assist dealers to manage their business,” he said

The General Manager, CWAY, Mr. Sean Fangxiao, said that the company would introduce pocket-friendly water dispensers that would give efficient service delivery.

“The home delivery service, especially for dispensers would commence with completion of the new refilling plant in May, 2018,” he said.

The Human Resource Director, Mrs. Mary Uzozi, said, “We have embarked on construction of the second line to ensure that we have water within reach. We have also employed about 50 persons to further boost water production.”

The Administration Manager, Sheyi Obasi, stressed the need for manufacturers to often extend credit facilities to their major distributors to help grow their business.
