Davo Dani Microfinance Bank says it is committed to promoting saving culture among its customers.
The lender said this while rewarding its loyal customers who participated in its just-concluded promo targeted at improving saving culture.
The promo, introduced late last year and tagged, ‘Save And Win’, lasted for six months.
The available statistics showed that many customers of the bank participated in the promo but only a few got qualified. Among those who qualified, only 10 emerged lucky winners of the gifts.
Davo Dani Microfinance Bank operates with a state MFB licence by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The Managing Director, Davo Dani MFB, Mr. John Alonge, said the reward exercise was in fulfillment of the lender’s promise to its customers when the promo was introduced six months ago.
Alonge said “I welcome you to the gathering for the purpose of fulfilling our part of a partnership we entered into with our customers some six months ago. We had the promise to give out some prizes to the winners of the Save And Win promo, which is meant to stimulate saving culture among our existing and potential customers.”
Among the items given out to the deserving winners were portable deep freezer, air conditioner, a 32” flat screen LED television, generator, among others.
The bank also announced the commencement of the “better and improved” second phase of the promo.
The Chairman of the bank, Mr. Austin Isire, said the idea behind the promo was to “stimulate from the consciousness of all of us who have little cash with them to save them.
“The idea is to teach us the sense that a small creature by God called ants; that sense that ants has should be deposited in living creature who have power to dominate.”
