Dubai Tourism launches Dubai face off celebrity campaign, fan travel package

Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) has unveiled it’s 2019 marketing campaign tagged Dubai face off with an A-list cast of celebrities for a unique duel-in-the-desert treat with exclusive travel packages that let fans travel with the stars for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The Dubai Face Off campaign was created on the heel of the widely successful 2018 girl’s trip that featured celebrities; Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo, Ufuoma McDermott, Chioma Akpotha and Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah on a week-long girlfriend’s adventurous trip to Dubai that was extensively covered on their social media accounts, garnering over 57 million impressions.

The girl’s trip featured suicide-door Tesla vehicles, a swim with dolphins, mouthwatering cuisine, a seaplane ride, frolicking in the desert, shopping and more shopping.

However, the trip also evoked an equally envious response amongst other a-list male celebrities who called for their own version of guys trip to Dubai to rival the girls and hence gave birth to the Dubai Face Off.

The Dubai Face Off will feature a return of the ‘girls’ in a head-to-head challenge with members of the ‘notorious’ Chop Life Gang; Alexx Ekubo, IK Ogbonna, Yomi Casual and comedian Ayo Richard Makun to compete to see who can have the best time in Dubai. The not-so-friendly, friendly competition will take place in May, 2019 and will be hosted by actress Zainab Balogun.

Also fans can watch the competition up close by purchasing an exclusive Dubai Face Off travel package offered for the trip where they can mix, mingle and cheer on their favorite celebrity team in Dubai.

According to Salim Ali Mohamed Dahman, Head of Campaigns, Africa, “We have seen an incredible response to the first girl’s trip and decided to take that feedback, add a twist and truly create an opportunity where we can offer a great experience for travellers to visit Dubai.

The Dubai Face Off teams, competition host and their fans will travel to Dubai in May 2019; the travel package includes: return flights, entry visa, airport transfers, four nights at four or five star accommodations, a desert safari experience, city tour, IMG World’s of adventure and designated time with the celebrities with more exclusive perks to be announced. The Dubai Face Off travel package can be further customised and starts at $1,000.
