The NWC Governorship Primary Panel for Lagos State headed by Clement Ebiri has declared a nullity the primary conducted on Tuesday by the state chapter of the party to pick it’s candidate, saying the processes adopted did not follow laid down rules and the APC constitution.
Consequently, the committee said the NWC would determine the new date.
It, therefore, urged party members to return to their various wards immediately and await the arrival of materials that were being issued out for the election.
Ebiri, while giving a reason for late announcement of the committee’s decision, said the fault was not from the body but representatives of the governorship aspirants who failed to supply needed information and materials for the exercise.
