Action Democratic Party (ADP) aspirant in the coming governorship poll in Ekiti State, Otunba Segun Adewale aka Aeroland, on Wednesday, in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), reiterated his resolve to end political hegemony, under development and ravaging poverty in the state if voted as next governor.
Adewale gave this commitment at the National Headquarters of ADP, according to a statement issued by his campaign office, while speaking with newsmen, shortly after obtaining his nomination form.
This was just as the ADP governorship aspirant expressed confidence that he would emerge the party’s flagbearer and be the first governor the party would produce in the country.
Adewale, who is also popularly called ‘OSAPrapra’ by Ekiti natives and had toured all the 16 local governments in the state since he commenced his campaign, said his main focus was to end poverty with massive investment in Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, Tourism and other sectors once elected as governor by the Ekiti people.
He expressed optimism that if Dubai that was a desert some years ago could become a world leading economy, Ekiti with a visionary leader like him could also become economic hub of Nigeria and Africa.
“I am very optimism that if Dubai that was a desert some years ago can be transformed into a world leading economy, Ekiti State under a visionary leader like me can become economic hub of Nigeria and Africa as well, I assure my good people of Ekiti that such would be a promise kept,” Adewale said.
