Emefiele, Okowa, others for maiden Ika business summit

Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, are among eminent personalities expected at the maiden edition of Ika Economic Summit slated for June 24, 2017.
The summit with the theme, “Exploring Economic Potential of Ika through Strategic Investor Partnership for Development”, will take place at Ika National Hall, Agbor, and will attract other eminent personalities of Ika nation.
Chairman of the Organising Committee, Mr. Kingsley Emu, listed other personalities as Jim Ovia, Major General Iyo Irabor, Prof. P. C. Egbon, Prof. Eric Eboh, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, Dr. Jude Obala, Prof. Egban, Nduka Irabor, Tony Obuh, Victor Nwokolo, Anthony Elekeokwuri, Festus Okoh and Mr. Chiedu Ebie, among others.
He said while Emefiele is expected to be the Chairman of the one-day summit, Okowa will be the special guest of honour. Emu said the summit will not be a tea party but a forum where real issues would be addressed for implementation, disclosing that plans were on to set up an Implementation Committee to foster the execution of resolutions.
