Controversial critic and musician, Pascal Uche Ejikeme, popularly known as Etcetera, recently made a comeback into music releasing an offering to save the city of Baltimore in America of gun violence.
In this new song entitled, “Free Your Mind And Your Feet Will Follow”, Etcetera rather than criticising the act is part of a campaign to rid the state of crime and hard drugs.
“FBI just declared Baltimore Maryland as the most dangerous city in the whole of America.
“The state is now number one for gun violence. Last year was a record high of killings and drug use in the city.
“The city residents and police and the mayor have been pushing various campaigns to save the city from gun violence and drug abuse, which resulted in over 350 deaths last year, a new record which means there was no day throughout last year that somebody was not shot to death in Baltimore.
“Just want people to see the good works and my contributions to the city I live to reduce the crime rate and other nefarious activities” he said.
According to the singer and writer, The main title of the song is “Free Your Mind And Your Ass Will Follow” but changed the last three words to suit reportage in radio and newspapers.
He also confirmed that just as this second single followed less than six months of his comeback in the music circle, many more will follow.
The video for Free Your Mind And Your Feet Will Follow was shot by Sympatico, a renown film company in Maryland.
In the video Etcetera is portrayed as a police officer killed on duty to rid the city of violence. The video will be out on TV screens across Africa this September.
