Reactions have continued to greet the refusal of an Abuja hospital that refused to treat the gunshot wound suffered by a corps member.

The lady shot by a policeman was said to have died after being denied admission by the hospital.

Rap artiste, Folarin Falana – Falz – lamented that hospitals should care about saving lives rather than asking for a police report.

Tweeting @falzthebahdguy, he wrote, “If somebody has a gunshot wound and they are brought to the hospital, you are supposed to treat them and not just ask for a police report. Even if it is a suspected armed robber, who are you to deprive them of the right to stay alive? Let the court pass judgment.”

The corps member, identified as Linda Angela Igwetu, who was supposed to conclude her youth service on July 5, was reported to be celebrating with her friends ahead of their Passing Out Parade when a policeman shot the car she was in.
