ASABA—DELTA State Commissioner Bureau for Special Duties, Mr Ernest Ogwezzy, has said that the state fire service saved property worth over N8 trillion from being consumed by fire from 2015 till date.

Ogwezzy who spoke at the ongoing ministerial press briefing in Asaba, said the bureau attended to 794 distressed calls bordering on fire outbreaks, out of which 63 were false alarm, adding that the properties were saved through prompt response to calls of fire outbreaks by the fire service.
