Footprint-to-Africa in partnership with the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) will launch a documentary on non-oil investment opportunities in Nigeria in April.
Osita Oparaugo, managing director of Footprint-to-Africa, an investment promotion company, disclosed this to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday.
He said when the documentary is launched, it will be a marketing tool for the federal government.
“We are currently recording an economic documentary in partnership with the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) to showcase the tremendous investment opportunities in the non-oil sector of the Nigerian economy. Upon completion, this documentary will become a marketing tool for the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.
He said the company had attracted $1.5bn investment to Africa, and that there were many investment opportunities besides oil in Nigeria, which must be showcased.
He said the documentary was one in a series of ways investment opportunities in Nigeria could be promoted.
