The 5th Annual World Habitat Leadership Summit and International Honours will take center stage on 27th October 2018 with the them: “Effective Leadership – Its role in ensuring a Sustainable Habitat.” This year’s summit is in commemoration with the United Nations World Habitat Day 2018.

The nomination and careful selection of Chief (Dr) Emmanuel Frank Okafor among other business mogul is in view of his unequivocal commitments to community projects and developments, including human capital development whereby thousands of youth are employed.

Amb. Hillary also state that the selection of Her Excellency, Mrs Ijeoma Wada is as a result of her relentless drive to empowering the rural woman and consistency in community development projects over the years. The WHAF International Principal Consultant describes Her Excellency as an in-despicable agent of transformation and development who has done commendably well for her country Nigeria.

Speaking on behalf of the Governing Council, WHAF, Ambassador Hillary said, “there is no better time than now to talk about effective leadership, there role in ensuring a sustainable, secure, peaceful habitat “While we are promoting environmental sanitation, personal hygiene and healthy living, we must also strive for good representatives,  and better leaders.

“WHAF is working to help people to access decent, healthy and secure shelter through identifying innovative housing policy, practices and promoting these ideals through programmes, events, summit, workshops and conferences,’’ he said.

“The World Habitat Leadership Summit will have Security Experts, Leaders of Industries, Real Estate Owners, Youth Leaders, Investor’s and Government Agencies that will focus on topics that are aimed at encouraging, promoting social and environmentally sustainable human settlements.
