The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, councillorship aspirant of Oghara Ward II in the just concluded Delta State local government primaries, Brain Ehvwarieme, has appealed to the leadership of the party to return his stolen mandate to him.

He also called on former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, to wade into the matter with a view to declaring him the authentic candidate of the party.

The embattled councillorship aspirant who spoke in Oghara, noted that he was “duly cleared by the Delta Central Screening Committee led by Chief A. P. Fovie after fulfilling all the requirements but was shocked that a form was given to some other person who did not even buy it to contest the election.”

Ehvwarieme alleged that a top politician in the area hijacked the DISEC form and gave it to another person.
