Two Special Assistants to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State alongside 5,000 others have reportedly dumped the PDP for APC.

It is learnt the defectors vowed to team up with other APC leaders to “rescue the state from the grips of the PDP,” and further accused the administration of Okowa of “lacking the foresight to develop the state.”

Receiving Governor Okowa’s aides identified as Special Assistant to Governor on Youth and Community Development, Mr. Lucky Arumare; and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Women Mobilisation, Mrs. Uyoyou Edhekpo, the state factional chairman, Jones Erue, said the APC expected more people from the PDP.
