A meeting of the Progressives Governors Forum, PGF, is currently ongoing, in Abuja.
The meeting is being attended by Governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
It was learnt that the meeting was convened to agree on a ‘Unity List’, among the 179 aspirants that obtained nomination forms, ahead of Saturday’s National Convention of the party, in order to avoid any crisis.
A new set of APC National Leaders will be elected at the forthcoming Convention, slated for Saturday, June 23, 2018.
As at the time of filing in this report, the Governors of Adamawa, Benue, Kogi, Imo, Borno, Katsina, Jigawa, Osun, Oyo and Deputy Governors of Lagos and Kaduna States, had arrived the Imo State Governor’s Lodge, the venue of the meeting.
More Governors are still being expected at the all-important meeting.
