The three-day training exercise for Nigerian Army Guards Brigade personnel from Corporal and below competition 2018 has commenced.
The exercise, which started, on Monday, is aimed at improving troops skills and proficiency in-weapon handling, enhance map reading and interpretations of maps, improve troops leadership qualities, discipline, endurance and team work.
It is also aimed at improving troops’ proficiency in drill amongst others.
The closing ceremony which is taking place at the Mambila Barracks, has participants from all the five battalions making the Guards Brigade.
Some of the weapons used for the competition include General Purpose Machine Guns(GPMG), AK-47, and FN Rifle.
