OLEH – ISOKO Development Union, IDU, has charged the people of the Isoko nation to register to register and collect their permanent voters card, PCV, to enable them seek elective position and attract development to the various communities.
President General of IDU, Chief Iduh Amadhe who gave the charge at Oleh during a stakeholders meeting of representatives from various Isoko communities in Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State, noted that the voter card was the only power to negotiate for political appointments and eventual development of the communities.
On the problems of lack of roads, schools and health care centres being faced by Isoko communities in Ndokwa East, he assured that “IDU will stand by you and take your problems to the state government to ensure sustainable development of the communities.”
Amadhe promised to convey the message to other Isoko leaders to ensure that issues are addressed.
