El-Kanemi Warriors manager, Imams Amapakabo says he’s unperturbed over his team’s position on the Premier League table.

Warriors are finding life very uncomfortable at the drop zone of the standings but the Super Eagles assistant coach said there should not be any fear for the worst.

“We don’t want to be looking over our shoulders despite our position on the table’, the former Enugu Rangers title winning coach said.

“It’s all about focus, concentration and hard work.

“I don’t want to believe it was down to my CHAN induced absence.

“We have the players to do the job and it is our utmost believe we cannot disappoint the government and people of Borno State who had stood behind us, physically, morally and financially”.

El-Kanemi Warriors are 18th on the standings with 12 points after Sunday’s match day 11 games after they were held to a scoreless draw by visiting Niger Tornadoes.

Imams has just superintended El-Kanemi in only three games following his involvement with the Super Eagles who were in Morocco for the CHAN.
He will also be unavailable during the World Cup and even the several high profile friendly matches lined up for the Super Eagles ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Morocco.

In his absence, his assistant, Ernest Eziwo, former Enugu Rangers forward has been taking charge of the team.
