A presidential aspirant of All Progressives Congress, Chief Charles Udo Udeogaranya has cautioned the National Assembly against commencing impeachment proceedings against President Muhammadu Buhari, saying the move is unnecessary.

Answering questions on the development, Udeogaranya said: “I do sympathize with members of the national assembly with all the trauma they have been treated with but impeachment is not the solution now.
“I would rather solicit the support of members of the national assembly to back me up and support me in defeating President Buhari during our 2019 presidential primaries.
“Nigeria truly deserves a president that must respect constitutionally assigned responsibility and uphold and respect the doctrine of separation of powers among the three arms of government as I was trained to do this right from the onset.”
