Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has said that the Federal Government should have allowed south-east governors to resolve the clamour for Biafra by the Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Accoding to him, ‘FG should have allowed the Southeast governors to dialogue with Kanu’ like the Northern governors dialogued with the Arewa youths over the three-month ultimatum issued Ndigbo residing in the nineteen northern states.

He said the deployment of soldiers to the south-east is a show of force that won’t yield positive result.
