Leadway Pensure PFA Limited says it has resumed its usual provision of free Internet access to serving members of the National Youth Service Corps in Lagos, Sagamu and Abuja orientation camps.
The firm said it was providing this service to the corps members to ease the costs of keeping in touch with their families and enhance their productivity through mobile devices.
“As a service-focused company, Leadway Pensure PFA has been extending free WiFi Internet service to various camps across the federation since 2016,” it said.
The Managing Director, Leadway Pensure PFA, Mrs. Aderonke Adedeji, noted that the Nigerian youths had raised the bar in their service to the country.
She noted that as an organisation that understood the need for youth development and empowerment, the company was delighted to contribute to the wellbeing and comfort of the corps members.
Adedeji, who was represented by the Executive Director, Sales and Marketing, Mr. Olusakin Labeodan, explained that beyond the free services rendered at the camps, Leadway Pensure assisted in mentoring and making corps members job ready through periodic engagements with them.
He said, “We forge partnership with the corps members in the areas of job recruitment opportunities and career advancement. This is an initiative we intend to spread to various NYSC orientation camps across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria for the utmost benefit of corps members.”
According to him, Leadway Pensure recognises that corps members are the future leaders of Nigeria and deserve to be guided on adopting savings culture early.
