An indigenous technology company, Madesoftlogic, has unveiled a cloud-based Point of Sale software – ESOPOS, saying that it is a social marketplace solution for retailers, wholesalers and other Small and Medium-scale Enterprises in the country.
The Chief Executive Officer, Madesoftlogic, Mrs Faith Imade, said the new solution was part of the company’s enterprise platform and aimed at supporting SMEs.
She explained that the software had addressed challenges such as poor power supply, high cost of operations and poor inventory management system faced by small-scale businesses and entrepreneurs.
Imade said that the solution helped to manage key business activities and managerial processes such as sales register, product stocks, customer data management and expense management.
“We are excited about the opportunities ESOPOS provides Nigerian businesses that have not embraced technology. We discovered that the major reasons small businesses avoid using PoS is because of the high cost of operations and poor power supply, so we decided to come up with a solution that addresses these challenges. We are confident it will boost productivity for SMEs,” she said.
“ESOPOS allows you to effortlessly manage all your business processes from pricing to inventory management to analysing sales and vendor performance. It gives a real time business overview from any location, all from the cloud using any device.
“The solution has a social market feature which allows businesses to connect online, meet new customers and increase sales. Its features come for free without registration or subscription,” she added.
