Former Manchester United player, Quinton Fortune, says the club is still capable of winning the Premier League title this season.
United trail Premier League leaders Chelsea by 15 points with 12 games to go.
The Red Devils are sixth on the table, but have put up some impressive performance over the past two months, culminating in Sunday’s League Cup success over Southampton.
And the former South African international, who played more than 100 games for the club between 1999 and 2006, still hopes that United are hopeful for the top four and will fight with Chelsea until the last day of the season for title honours.
Fortune told Straits Times, “One down, three to go [Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup].
“The league is still to play for. Chelsea are doing well this season, but it’s not over until it’s over.
“We’ll push them right until the end, with the Europa League and FA Cup still to play for.”
