Lionel Messi has welcomed his third child with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo.

The Barcelona player was allowed to miss the match against Malaga to enable him be around when his wife goes into labour.

Messi shared the good news on Instagram writing: “Welcome Cyrus!!! Thank God it came all perfect. Mom and he are very good. We are super happy”

Messi who only got married last year, had his first child Thiago in 2012 and second Mateo in 2015. He is also among the top players expected to light up the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
