Yesterday it was reported that Destinys Child singer, Michelle Williams voluntarily checked her self in a mental health facility to seek treatment for depression. She confirmed the reports via a tweet where she expressed her thoughts on mental health and the importance of seeking help.

Michelle Williams had been a part of the R&B girl music group Destiny Child with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland. Though they had separated in 2005, the trio reunited this year at Coachella in April.

In 2013, the Oscar-winning actress told reporters that she had been suffering from depression for thirty years and has been in therapy ever since.

Apart from Azelia’s self-description as a troll, her struggles with mental health is well known. She was ordered by a court to attend anger management classes after a feud with fellow rapper Remy Ma.
