A mother was arrested for shooting at her son because he left before she was able to have the last word during their argument, worldwideweirdnews.com has reported.

Priscilla Ethridge, 66, was arrested for allegedly shooting her adult son after saying: “I’ll be damned if I let him have the last word,” following an argument.

According to police in Florida, United States, Ethridge and her 46-year-old son were arguing over a cell phone. The son left his mother’s home and drove away on his bicycle. However, his mother was furious because she was not able to have the last word. She got into her car and pulled up next to her son before opening fire on him.

Luckily, the man survived and the woman was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm.
