Just a few days after speaking of his pride at being called up for the DR Congo national team, West Ham defender, Arthur Masuaku has walked out of Congo DR training camp ahead of their friendly against Tanzania.
Masuaku was due to make his debut for his country in their friendly clash with Tanzania in Dar-Es-Salaam but has already got his return ticket back to London and is expected to be back in the capital imminently after a bizarre statement from DR Congo FA (Fecofa).
They have said Masuaku was one of four players along with Paul-José Mpoku, Gael Kakuta, Jordan Ikoko to walk out of Jean-Florent Ibenge’s camp, claiming they “deplored certain organisational aspects of the course.”
It is also said the players were “frustrated”, with some having “broken, sulked and asked to leave”
