The Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in a drive to establish offices in major towns and cities of the federation where electrical engineers reside or work, has inaugurated Kano chapter.
The National Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Akinwole, said the new chapter would ensure that technical issues in the local environment were addressed using engineering approach.
He explained that engineers were solution providers and should at all times think outside the box.
“The investiture of Mr. Abdullahi Suleiman as the pioneer chairman of Kano Chapter was held with the inauguration of the new executive committee members and Mr. Rabiu Haruna is now the current Kano Branch chairman of the Nigeria Society of Engineers,” he said.
Akinwole also commended Haruna who he said had worked assiduously to see to the establishment of the new chapter.
