Vice Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Right Reverend (Professor) Dapo Asaju, has stated that rebuilding Nigeria must pervade all sectors of the polity.
He made the submission in a lecture delivered at the 30th anniversary of Osun Anglican Diocese, entitled The Role of the Church in Nation Building.
Lamenting the attitude of youths towards politics, and urging them to take a cue from the examples of visionary leaders such as Chief Obafemi Awolowo, he stated that the country was living on past glories.
He called for all hands to be on deck to ensure that the country achieved its full potential in terms of positive development.
According to him, the church has a major role to play in national affairs and as such, requires the concerted efforts of the Christian community to move the country forward.
