THE nation’s marketing landscape, is gradually seeing the essence of Public Relations measurement and evaluation services, as stakeholders are beginning to see reasons to engage PR measurement consultants, says Mr. Philip Odiakose, Lead Consultant, P+ Measurement Services, an independent PR measurement and evaluation agency in Nigeria.
Odiakose, in a statement, disclosed that the agency, which will be three years old, this year, will be hosting the AMEC’s measurement month, an annual educational programme, this month, November, with the aim of up-skilling communications and measurement practitioners and showcasing global best practices,
According to him, the AMEC’s measurement month, which will hold all through the month of November, with about 86 countries participating, will be used to champion the Measurement and Evaluation cause in Nigeria.

“We are proud to be hosting the AMEC measurement month once again in Nigeria. This is our third year and we can say that the Nigerian industry is gradually beginning to see the essence of PR measurement and evaluation.
“Stakeholders are beginning to see reasons to engage PR measurement consultant and the AMEC measurement month will help us educate more people on the importance of media measurement and evaluation on a nationwide scale,” he stated.
He added that the event would provide the opportunity for practitioners in the country to share thoughts with experts and thought leaders in the Communications and Measurement industry from various countries, on the importance of having viable independent measurement and evaluation program, necessary to grow the marketing communications industry.
Odiakose added that the discussion would also shed light on best practice in relation to Measurement and Evaluation of Communication.
As part of activities marking the third anniversary in the Measurement and Evaluation industry in Nigeria, the agency, he stated, had re-launched its website and moved to a new service centre, located in the Central Business District of Lagos.
He stated that the agency had, in the past three years, established the importance of independent media monitoring, measurement and evaluation, in demonstration of its commitment to providing quality insight that informs profitable business decisions.
