Nigeria’s creative agency, Noah’s Ark Communications Limited, is celebrating 10 years of business operations in Nigeria with a lecture titled ‘Goodvertising — your voice and work matter’ to be delivered by a renowned author and advertising guru, Thomas Kolster.
The firm said that as part of the activities for the celebration, there would be a roundtable discussion featuring industry experts and thought leaders, while a workshop to be anchored by Kolster for the agency and its clients would hold on Friday, April 5 in Lagos with the lecture fixed for April 6.
In addition to the lecture, the firm said a novelty match had been put together with Noah’s Ark team to trade tackles with the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria.
The agency, which started operations on February 11, 2008, hit the 10-year mark penultimate weekend.
The Chief Executive Officer, Noah’s Ark, Mr. Lanre Adisa, described the achievement as a product of favour and immense support received from clients who had remained a strong foundation for the company’s performance in the last 10 years.
He said, “It is great to celebrate the 10th anniversary and I’m highly excited about this milestone. I must say that our clients did us a lot of good by giving us the wings to fly when we were just starting. You have to appreciate the fact that for a big brand to entrust itself in a start-up like ours, it was a big risk. They did well by believing in us and we are happy for it.
“I’m happy that our work is being recognised and rewarded on the global stage. Just last year, one of our campaigns for Airtel won an Epica Gold in Germany. We have also won several awards both locally and internationally.”
The firm said that since it started, it had been involved in groundbreaking campaigns, many of which had earned it acclaim.
“In 10 years of operation, the agency has remained a leading new generation agency, scoring a couple of firsts in the industry. It was the first West African agency to have its work featured in the globally renowned Lurzer’s Archive; the first to be awarded national diplomas of merit by Cannes Lions; first Nigerian agency to win gold at an international award festival (African Cristals 2016); among many other awards,” a statement from the firm said.
Noah’s Ark, according to the statement, has since evolved into a group of specialist agencies with two subsidiaries, IntegratedIndigo, a public relations firm, and Underdog Productions, a content/production company.
“In 2016, Noah’s Ark got affiliated to Dentsu Aegis Network, giving it a global platform to further its drive for world-class brand building,” the statement noted.
