Notore Chemical Industries Plc has appointed Mr Ohis Ohiwerei as its new executive director, following the retirement of Mr Femi Agbaje.
The company said in a statement that Agbaje’s retirement would take effect from September 30, 3018.
It said Agbaje, who joined the organisation in January 2007, had served as a member of the Board of Directors since February 2011, and would remain on the board in the capacity of a non-executive director.
According to the statement, Ohiwerei’s appointment as the group deputy managing director and chief financial officer took effect from September 17, 2018.
The company also announced that it had brought down its ammonia plant for maintenance activities.
It said the plant was brought down in order to build its mechanical reliability to ensure improved production.
According to the statement, the maintenance exercise, which is expected to last for 15 to 20 days, commenced on September 14, 2018.
