The governor, who was represented by the Supervisor of the Ministry of Sports, Social Protection and Special Needs, Biyi Odunlade said the state appreciated Ogunjobi’s exhibition of administrative acumen, which fast tracked the development of football and the growth of sports in Osun.

He stressed that the roles played by Chief Ogunjobi was recognised by the state government, which facilitated his appointment as the Special Assistant to the immediate past governor, Rauf Aregbesola on Football Matters, adding that efforts would be made to sustain the good work of the former general secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
