Operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 35-year-old man who robs people with a toy gun while pretending to be mad.A statement by RRS on Monday said a black toy pistol replica of Barreta pistol was found on him.
“RRS nabbed a man pretending to be a madman with a toy pistol under Eko Bridge, Lagos around 11:00 p.m. The officers were informed by a motorcyclist. They rushed to the scene and saw the man hiding the gun in his trousers and trying to run away. He was arrested and searched.
“Found on him was a black toy pistol replica of Barreta pistol. He claimed to be Oyahere Johnson, 35, from Port Harcourt. He said he has been using the toy gun to rob in the area,” the statement said.
