The 127 Pro Biafra women who were remanded in Owerri prison were released according to Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, unconditionally.
He also said that they would take legal action against the police.
The women who were arrested and remanded in the Owerri prison; since last week for engaging in peaceful protest and demanding for the release of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu; were reportedly bullied by the officers of the Nigeria police.
