[PHOTOS] Mob Burn Down Police Station In Osun State Over Alleged Shooting Of Undergraduate By SARS

Some angry youths in Iwo, Osun State, this morning, set ablaze the Iwo police area command office. This is following the death of an undergraduate of the Osun state polytechnic, Tunde Nofiu, who was allegedly shot dead by an officer attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad SARS during the Sallah holiday.

An eyewitness claims that Nafiu and some other persons by the roadside were looking for a motorcycle at Ajangbala area in Iwo town when they were accosted by a triggerhappy SARS officer who fired shots at them yesterday evening Thursday, August 23rd. Nafiu died on the spot.

The youths are demanding justice for the deceased.
