Industry stakeholders will converge on Lagos to examine the latest trends and progression within the country’s electricity sector at this year’s edition of Power Nigeria Exhibition and Conference.
The organisers said in a statement that the conference would attract the entire power market value chain, from decision makers and business leaders to experts and trade professionals.
According to the statement, stakeholders will discuss issues such as mini-grids, solar and the use of blockchain within the power sector, at the three-day conference scheduled for this month.
It said the conference would feature industry experts, including the Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Prof. James Momoh; the Director-General of Standards Organisation of Nigeria, Osita Aboloma, and the Commissioner, Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr Olawale Oluwo.
Speaking ahead of the conference, the Exhibition Manager at Informa’s Industrial Group, Sheetij Taneja, highlighted the importance of bringing together the industry stakeholders every year and the potential the power generation investments would have.
Taneja said, “It is this type of growth that drives our platform and allows us year after year to bring together a wide range of key stakeholders, from power manufacturers, suppliers, domestic wholesalers and distributors, to thousands of visitors from across Nigeria and neighbouring countries.”
