Some players and officials have attributed the 2 – 1 loss to MFM in Lagos to fatigue and congested league and CAF fixtures in the last one week.
According to them, the away and home matches with JS Saoura FC of Algeria as well as the NPFL games were all tough games and too close.
“Players were not given enough time and space to rest before the Friday game, coupled with injury worries for some key players like Ghanaian goalkeeper, Nana Bonsu, Orji Kalu and Senegalese Ousimane.”
The players called on all Rangers fans and supporters to come out in their thousands on Wednesday to support the team to victory against ABS in Enugu.
General Manager/CEO of the Club, Christian Chukwu said though the Club is having some challenges now, he is hopeful it will overcome and be back to winning ways.
