Smarting from a goalless draw in Sunday’s CAF Champions League second leg preliminary round in Enugu against J.S.Saoura FC of Algeria that guaranteed the club a second round placing against Zamalek FC of Egypt, Rangers players see it as a morale booster to confront Lobi Stars FC on today and win convincingly. Across section of Rangers players view that it will no longer be business as usual as they have vowed not to drop any point but to secure the maximum three points and good number of goals to be comfortable in the league table.
General Manager of Rangers, Chairman Christian Chukwu said the team is poised to win its three outstanding matches and garner the nine maximum points, which places her among the first three in league table with fifteen points from nine matches.
According to Chukwu, though the continental engagement has taken a toll on his boys, they have strong character to also play out their matches in the premier league. He however, appealed to the LMC to consider the team’s CAF schedule by rescheduling as well as spacing league matches to enable his players be fit for the continental assignments.
